Celebrating Community, Heritage, and the Outdoors

In 2026, the Great Falls Regional Chamber of Commerce will bring thousands of residents and visitors together through three signature community festivals that celebrate the natural beauty, history, and entrepreneurial spirit of our region.

Community sponsors make these events possible while gaining meaningful visibility with residents and visitors.

Support all three festivals through a bundled sponsorship or choose a single event that aligns with your mission!

Audience & Impact

Our festivals connect sponsors with audiences across the Great Falls region and beyond through strong in-person attendance, seasonal tourism, and year-round digital promotion.

Regional attendance and seasonal visibility
Each event draws a distinct audience aligned with its season and setting:

  • Herrick’s Cove Wildlife Festival attracts nature lovers, families, educators, and outdoor recreation enthusiasts in early spring.

  • Rockingham Old Home Days brings together residents, returning families, and summer visitors for one of the region’s most cherished community traditions.

  • Southern Vermont Flannel Festival takes place during peak foliage season, drawing visitors, shoppers, and travelers seeking an authentic fall experience in Vermont.

Facebook reach and promotional performance
Our social media channels significantly extend sponsor visibility before, during, and after each event:

  • GFRCC Facebook Page: 740K views from May 2025–April 2026, with our Flannel Festival post on 10/17 garnering over 20K views.

  • Herrick’s Cove Wildlife Festival Facebook Page: 28,207 views from Mar 2025–Mar 16, 2026, with a peak of 8,052 views on May 4, 2025.

  • Since GFRCC took on the management of the Herrick’s Cove Wildlife Festival page on March 16, it has had 46,091 views, a 26,416% increase from the previous 60 days.

  • Engagement has increased on HCWF content by 18,276%.

  • Southern Vermont Flannel Festival Facebook Page: 17,179 views from Mar 1, 2025–Mar 16, 2026, with a peak of 2,579 views on Oct 19, 2025.

Across these channels, our content reaches large numbers of non-followers, expanding sponsor visibility beyond our existing audience and into the broader regional and visitor market.

This combination of live event participation, tourism timing, and high-performing digital promotion gives sponsors meaningful exposure while aligning their brand with some of the region’s most visible and well-loved annual events.

The Herrick’s Cove Wildlife Festival connects thousands of residents and visitors with the natural beauty and ecological richness of the Great Falls region. Through guided walks, wildlife demonstrations, educational exhibits, and interactive outdoor activities, the event creates meaningful opportunities for people of all ages to explore local ecosystems and learn from conservation leaders.

Beginning in 2026, the Great Falls Regional Chamber of Commerce joins Ascutney Mountain Audubon Society, Great River Hydro, and Vermont Fish & Wildlife as co-organizers of this long-running celebration of environmental stewardship. Since 2000, the festival has attracted nature enthusiasts, families, educators, and outdoor recreation supporters from across Vermont and New Hampshire.

For sponsors, Herrick’s Cove Wildlife Festival offers a unique opportunity to align with conservation, outdoor recreation, and environmental education while gaining visibility among an engaged and environmentally conscious multigenerational audience.

  • Saturday, August 1, 2026

Rockingham Old Home Days is a beloved summer tradition that celebrates the heritage, community spirit, and local pride of the Great Falls region. Set along the Connecticut River, the event draws thousands of residents and visitors for a day filled with local food vendors, artisan booths, contests, games, live entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks finale.

The festival showcases the collaborative energy of the region, bringing together local businesses, nonprofits, civic groups, and volunteers to create a welcoming gathering place for neighbors and visitors alike. New attractions—such as the Hoops Shooting Contest introduced in 2025—continue to expand the event while honoring the traditions that have made Old Home Days a community favorite for generations.

With strong attendance, active vendor participation, and extensive local promotion, Rockingham Old Home Days provides sponsors with valuable opportunities for brand visibility while supporting one of the region’s most cherished community celebrations.

  • Sat. & Sun., October 17-18, 2026

The Southern Vermont Flannel Festival is the region’s premier fall celebration of Vermont culture, creativity, and craftsmanship. Each October, the colorful hills and mountains of the Connecticut River Valley welcome thousands of visitors for a vibrant weekend of artisan vendors, regional food and beverages, live music, and seasonal activities that capture the spirit of autumn in New England.

The festival highlights the work of local makers, farmers, artists, and small businesses while creating a lively marketplace that draws both local residents and visitors traveling through the region during peak foliage season. Vendor and attendee feedback consistently reflects strong foot traffic, enthusiastic crowds, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps people returning year after year.

For sponsors, the Southern Vermont Flannel Festival offers exceptional brand exposure during one of the region’s busiest tourism periods, connecting businesses with a large and engaged audience while supporting the entrepreneurs and creative enterprises that make southern Vermont unique.
