Meet Our Director
Aimee Parnell, Executive Director of the Great Falls Regional Chamber of Commerce, brings nearly 25 years of experience in bilingual community outreach, media, and education. She holds a K–6 Teaching Credential from San Diego State University, a B.A. Cum Laude in Psychology from Northern Arizona University, and is a Certified RYT-200 Yoga Instructor.
Her career began in 2003 as a Peace Corps volunteer in Gabon, Africa, where she created educational materials and documentary films to share local stories. She also launched a sea turtle conservation festival that attracted 2,000+ participants annually, and designed and directed an ecotourism lodge renovation for the Gabonese Minister of Tourism to support local artisans.
Since moving to Vermont in 2017, Aimee has strengthened community engagement through initiatives like the Fresh Cut Film Festival, free roller skating events, and LEGO Robotics clubs for students in grades K–8. She also rebranded Springfield Area Public Access Television’s facility and website, modernized their administrative operations, and boosted local support by over 2,500% in two years.
An avid snowboarder, volleyball player, and outdoor enthusiast, Aimee enjoys exploring Vermont with her family. A multimedia artist, she performs in the Dance Factory’s annual production of The Nutcracker and embraces opportunities to connect the community through the arts. She is thrilled to lead the Chamber in fostering a vibrant, connected, and thriving region.
