The Bellows Falls Opera House is a 553 seat large-screen venue hosting family friendly first-run movies, Wednesday Night classics, and a wide variety of special events from concerts to independent film screenings. Stage 33 Live is a non-profit listening room providing high quality, affordable live entertainment. Not a bar, not a restaurant, not a coffeehouse, the stage is not an add-on, it's the mission. An arts driver contributing to Bellows Falls' and southeastern Vermont's reputation as an engaging destination, established touring performers are presented, along with local and regional musicians and language creatives-helping the developing artists that live and work among us generate career capacity by documenting their paid performance and presentation before a live audience. The produced documentation is deceminated online at no cost to the participants, with plans to produce for public radio and television.

Second-Saturday Synthfest Series at Stage 33 Live 

There will be two electronic music performance concerts celebrating synthesizers, circuit-bending, and sound manipulation on the second Saturday of the first two months of 2024-January 13 and February 10-at Stage 33 Live, 33 Bridge Street in Bellows Falls, Vermont.

Each session will open with a meet-and-greet at 6:00 pm. Get up close to the gear (don't touch though), talk with the performers, and settle in. Performances will begin at 7:00pm.

The players will be in the center of the room, with the audience in the round and encouraged to roam throughout the show. The performances are expected to range from cinematic and lush to computeresque and urgent. It may get loud.

Session 2 performers on February 10 include Repairer of Reputation from Rhode Island, Acacia Bridge fro New York, and three from Vermont: Thorny, Malcomb McShinsky, and Uke Meri.

Suggested $10 donation in advance through stage33live.com or at the door per event, all proceeds benefit the performermers. No one will be turned away for lack of money. Advance donations through stage33live.com guarantee entry if the session sells out.

 

The Becker Sisters are a soprano/piano duo fusing neo-classical, contemporary art song, folk, opera, and jazz. They will perform at Stage 33 Live, 33 Bridge Street in Bllows Fallls, on Sunday, February 18, 2024. in a 3:00 pm matinee, Tickets are $5 in advance or $10 at the door, all proceeds go to the artists.
